I’m a proud local, I love our community and I’m passionate about serving it. My job is not just to represent the Mansfield Electorate in Parliament – it’s to work with our community to get the best outcomes for our schools, our small businesses, local groups and families. Every day my focus is on working towards a better future for everyone in our community.
Meet Corrine
Hi, I’m Corrine McMillan MP.
I’m a passionate advocate for our community here in the Mansfield Electorate, with a strong focus on creating the best possible future for our young people.
I’m a former teacher and school Principal, having had the privilege of leading a wonderful team of educators at Cavendish Road State High School prior to my election as the member for Mansfield in 2017.
My background means I’m passionate about delivering for our local schools and TAFE and making sure our students and families are supported.

I’m also a strong advocate for better local healthcare and am proud to have helped secure the new satellite hospital at Eight Mile Plains, which is being delivered by the Palaszczuk Labor Government.
Creating a better future also means looking after the world around us and taking action on climate change, which is why I’m determined to make sure we deliver on the government’s $62 billion Energy and Jobs Plan, which will end our reliance on coal fired power while keeping energy generation assets in public hands.
Finally, I’m passionate about supporting our local small businesses, including through my annual Mansfield Small Business Awards.

Key Highlights
Since being elected in 2017, I have helped deliver:
- A brand new Satellite Hospital in Eight Mile Plains.
- More than $180m in upgrades for local classrooms and new school buildings across our electorate
- Air conditioning every school classroom
- Fee-Free TAFE courses for locals
- Our $62 billion Energy and Jobs Plan, to provide cheaper power and remove coal-fired power from our energy grid by 2035.

Since being elected I have worked hard to deliver for our community. Whether it is Better Healthcare, Quality Schools, Investing in Roads and Public Transport, and A Strong and Safe Community.
